CPI Group, LLC was formed in 2005 as a nationwide real estate investment concern seeking multifamily residential opportunities to position capital in emerging markets with maximum long-term growth potential. The company’s goal is to consistently grow and prosper by acquiring properties starting at approximately one million dollars, while building, improving and managing a strong and profitable portfolio. The members of CPI Group currently have an ownership interest in over 250 units in the Southeastern United States.
The company is specifically looking for class ”b” and ”c” properties in class ”a” and ”b” areas with a value-added component to capitalize on management and turnaround opportunities. The ideal property has 100+ units with net operating income reflecting a 9 or greater cap rate, with upside potential. Our expected holding period for each property is three to five years. Through intensive management efforts CPI Group will implement an aggressive turnaround plan by making needed repairs and upgrades, improving tenant quality and retention and raising net operating income. Any geographic area in the continental United States will be considered. CPI Group is particularly interested in providing solutions for long-term multifamily property owners seeking to transition out of their intensive day-to-day ownership responsibilities and wishing to liquidate their holdings.
